Sunflowers!

The painting below highlights an experiment in painting loose and free. Pick up that brush and have some fun and cast your cares to the wind. 

Thank you to the Art Sherpa for the inspiration and fun and relaxation this brought to me at a time when it was most welcomed!

The paintings below are obviously in the style of dear Vincent, a true treasure to us all and a grand master of his craft. 

8x10 oil on gessobord

This one is a mini version of the above painting. I did it in acrylic so that I didn't have to wait to finish it. It's fun for the impatient.  

The colors seem a bit washed out in the photo but they are just as bright as the painting above. Bad lighting will do that. And I know this is going to bug me until I fix it.
